Compliments belong to other people, why keep them with you?

It doesn’t matter what language you speak, expressing compliments is important. Not only is it professional etiquette and common courtesy, but compliments will also make people’s day and help you get ahead in life. Compliments are a powerful combination of simple words.

There exist different peoples, helpers, mentors who played a key role in your personal and professional development. But we might haven't thanked those people in a systematic way or haven’t thanked them at all.

Compliments not only let you feel light it also helps the mood, thoughts, perception of the receiver at the other end. So, in the following sections, you will see people whom I tried to compliment and I highly encourage you to complete your pending compliments ASAP.

So, the first compliment belongs to my beloved teacher,

Mohsin Hussain Qadri

Sir Mohsin Hussain Qadri was one of my teachers who taught me chemistry in Punjab College of Science, Blue Area, Islamabad. I might have thanked him a lot but I never have written or crafted sincere gratitude to him. Therefore, I presented him with a letter.

“Dear Sir, I am M.Waleed, your past student from Punjab college (section E-8). I wanted to write a complimentary letter to you for your efforts and support you have provided. The best thing I liked about you was your incredible, colorful, extremely innovative, and unique teaching method and your guidance. Your humbleness and character also were intriguing. Your guidance, motivation, teaching method helped/inspired me a lot. Especially, one-on-one meeting with you after college life was extremely beneficial for my career. I will try my best to apply all the learnings and motivation in my real life. Hope you live a happy professional and personal life.”

And the second to my friend and university fellow,

Muhammad Ahmad Qamar

Ahmad Qamar is my friend and university classmate. He is renowned for his speaking and communication skills. And I learned from him a lot and he also helped me whenever I asked.

“I am writing to you to express my gratitude for the things I learned from you and to highlight certain things that appealed to me a lot. The things I like about you include your dedication, public speaking, and your habit of salaam with almost everyone. Though you might be praised or admired by many university fellows for your public speaking, the most important talk with you is the one in which we traveled a long distance from hostel to Sir Tariq Majeed’s room to submit the Performa(hope you remember). The key lesson which I learned from you and got stuck in my mind was “Waleed learn to ride a bike”, and your explanation by linking it to life. Moreover, some public speaking improvement and my communication betterment owe to you as well.”

Concluding my blog I would like to just repeat something, “Compliments belong to other people, why keep them with you?
